Hello folks,

Finally got the 1984 Shasta in an RV Park. I am noticing underneath in the same area where freshwater connects to the camper I have a water leak.  I have looked under couch where fresh water tank, pump and water heater are but, don't see any water or anything dripping.

Also, in bathroom around toilet and on floor I am noticing the carpet is always wet.  Doesn't smell so I am assuming it's water and not sewer leaking.

I have put in a water pressure regulator.  I didn't have any of the above mentioned leaks until I switched from using the tank to using the water hose.  Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Hey Matt,, did you check the * T fitting, Where fresh water comes in and a T fitting seperates the kitchen sink, from the Bathroom water supply? Ive come across plastic T-fittings that crack with age.  Also check the valve where the fresh water goes into the toilet.    They will be a ghost leaker, when you flush toilet,(depending on the style you have), and will leak for a bit after a flush, and sometimes seal up till the next time the toilet is flushed. And at times when water pressure fluxuates, like when using kitchen sink to wash dishes etc, and pressure resumes back. (even with a pressure regulator on main water inlet supply hose). Hope this helps a little.

Try RV Parts Country. It sounds like may be your roof even starting to leak. They've got a lot of roof repair parts and a lot of other RV parts to choose from. I do my shopping there now.

I think I found my leak. On the interior where plastic/pvc connects to freshwater connection.  I disconnected the plastic screw-on connector and didn't notice any damage.  So, I added teflon tape and tightened.  So far no leak.  As far as the bathroom carpet goes, I am thinking that was caused by gravity from the original leak at the freshwater connection.

Thanks for everyone's help in solving this puzzle! On to the next challenge!

P.S.: I did add a pressure regulator at the water valve outside.
