I purchased the RV that was in a RV park. Being new to RV's I took advice from other RV's. Hook up the septic line, leave the waist gate open and you can even use whatever TP you want.
Let me tell you now, from experience, not a good idea. My take was clogged and became full. I will not go in to detail, but unclogging it was not even fun. I do not want to go through that again. PLEASE do what the owner's manual says to do. If you don't have a manual, here are some suggestions. (1) close the drain valve, and add enzymes. Use biodegradable TP, When it gets 50 to 80 percent full then drain it. NEVER leave the drain open. Hope this helps out

Thats true,,,,, Its a NEVER ever leave waste gate open to free flow waste, (empty it every 2 or 3 days,,only takes a minute or 2). AND... use RV paper or SINGLE PLY so it disolves, and doesnt become paper concrete. Always add the toilet sanitizer stuff,,,, it breaks down the waste and even smells purdy.
Glad you got that issue resolved Dean... I know that was a SHOOOOTY job to say the least.
Thats great Dean..
