1976 Dodge Sportsman 360 Oil tube indicator

Hello, We have been in search of the oil tube for our rv for a couple of weeks. We seem to be having difficulties because the tube is not a standard size. Our dipstick, which is still great is 36" and the tube from the engine block is approx 16.5" long. It broke off at the engine block. We have called around and we are waiting on some answers. If anyone has any infor that could be of any help, please let us know. Jeff & Delia

On a worse case scenario,, They have dipstick and tube kits for custom builds available at most auto parts stores, You just have to verify the correct amount of oil in the engine and mark the dip stick accordingly. If your lucky you might be able to find a tube in a scrap/junk yard. The hardest part is with RV applications is the over-all length, in which case some chevy and ford vans use the same application with a long tube for the dipstick.
