Hi Zac,did you find your classic Winnebago?

No not yet still looking, but for the time being I found a hell of a deal on a 2001 four winds breeze 25' pull behind so I bought it to quench the need to go camping but I still troll Craigslist every night ill find my Winnie eventually

This one is a 1974. It's in Vermont...not sure if that helps or not.

I saw a nice in good shape 70s winnebago at the chev . dealer in burns oregon.  good luck Ron........

What was the dealer name thanks

Where are you located..look at my page I have a 72 Chieftain you might like.Needs work, the trans leaks oil like crazy. Local trans guy said 500 to fix up with new seals and pump.It runs well just cant drive it like it is. I'd let it go cheap to make room for my new Flxible bus.

I have a 1972 Brave for sale in the Puget Sound Area. Ready to camp. 20 ft I am the third owner. Have some service records and receipts. The interior has some water damage and is a bit rough but functional and I use it a lot.removed the AC and braced the roof which stopped the leak. The hot water heater and furnace don't work but just about everything else does. Recently divorced and can't store it. Asking $2200

I know where one is for 3k asking and could be gotten for less i think.

Longwood, Fl.

Ill get a pic and tele # for you if your still looking.

Still have my 72 brave for sale.

Dear Mr. Peters,

I am working on an article about vintage RVs for The Wall Street Journal and I noticed your message in the Good Old RVs forum. I realize it has been a while but wondered if you ever found the right Winnebago or if you are still searching.

I am looking into the appeal of older RVs, especially models from the 1970s (great styling, great colors). Please let me know  if you have a minute or to to chat?

Regards,

Jonathan Welsh
