we made it all the way from Mobridge SD to Aberdeen SD, about 100 miles on US-12, but it took us 175 miles and 8 hours to do it. But we had a good visit with a dear friend who moved from Watertown SD to Eureka, SD just last month. Only a freak chance at crossing phone numbers were we able to connect and find out about the move. So, storms permitting, we should be back on track tomorrow--Although I like getting side tracked, much more interesting than windshield time just to get someplace so you can rest up for more windshield time the day after. Traveling is great, now if I could just get a certain person to realize that 6 months in the MH is the same as 6 months at home, just smaller, I would be having a ball, cool areas for summer and warmth for the winter, heck, I might never end up at home again except to visit for a few weeks out of the year. LOL But, as the saying goes, Happy wife Happy life

Eureka is about 55 miles north and east of mobridge SD on route 10, a road every bit as good as US-12, and yes, if I were single my children would be seeing me about twice a year and texting and emailing the rest of the time. I would be trying to wear out these truck tires instead of watching them age out
