There are lots of different RV makers that use a Ford chassis, but
I have not heard of a Ford making a motorhome.
Hi Floyd, are there any other tags or decals on the camper?
I have seen several of those Fords in California desert areas and even thruout Arizona and New Mexico,
Most of them abandoned and parked to die a cruel death of just sitting, The ones I looked at out of curiosity had either the 460 or 490 Big blocks and was a 50/50 on the automatic trans and 4 speeds. They seemed to have been built like sherman tanks,, not skimping on the durabilty factor. Sat a little high, which I assume would be great for getting way out in the woods. The poor ones I looked at suffered severe water/weather damage from the roof vents cracking and leaking over the years, rendering the interior destroyed, Which is a shame,, they did pack every nessesity needed for backroads camping. Some had small toilets and sit down shower. They are a RARE breed, and to come across one that wasnt abandoned is a true diamond in the rough find. Simple to work on and upgrade. Simple aspirated carb engine and simple electronics. You have found found a keeper and head turner. Take some pics of the interior,, would be nice to see how yurs is set up..
