I live in NM but visit my mom in a rest home in Ks for up to a month every month. The house I was living in on these visits is no longer available and motels are not feasible. I have the chance to by the 1982 Shasta and live in it on these visits. I travel alone except with a dog on these visits.I have never owned or operated an RV before but stayed in other's units in the past.

Hey Brent, I have a 1985 Shasta 24 foot RV.  I may be able to help you with the 82.  From the photo the RV looks in good shape.  My rv has been a labor of love, from the tires to the tin roof.  Let me know.
