New Fuel pump Problem

The new fuel pump I installed now has a pulse. The high pitch noise matches the engine and comes from the pump in the fuel tank. I unplug the pump and fuel guage and the noise stops. This is an 89 Pace Arrow on a P30 frame with a 454. New pump again or is this a common noise? Lowering the tank is the only way to get to it. HelpSee More
