Refrigerator troubleshooting
Hi everyone.We have a '78 Red Dale with an Insta-Matic IM-162 fridge. The fridge works great on electric when we're on-grid, but we're having an issue getting it to work on propane.We follow the start-up instructions, and seem to get gas flowing (if we leave the gas valve open long enough we can smell the propane), and we get a spark from the ignitor (can see it through the view port). - After 20 years in tech, and four layoffs in 10 years, my wife and I changed up our life. We downsized and moved to the mountains. Three and a half years later, we hit the road in an over-loaded Subaru with our two cats for the mobile life. We have since upgraded our vehicle to something larger that can tow, and purchased a 1978 Red Dale trailer as our tiny home on wheels.
