Tell us a little About Yourself
My husband and I are retired.I love to sew so I started a small alteration business out of my home to earn extra money. My dream is to see the United States in a travel trailer. We purchased a 20 ft. 1980 Vaquero Mobile Scout. in very good shape. I just started working on it. I want to get in shape to travel We just purchased the tires. I plan to start working on it in June. My grand-daughter works for a school district and is off for the summer. So I take care of my great-grandson he is the first one so we have him spoil. He is 19 months and into everything. It is hard to work on it right now

OK found out that my tank is made of polyethylene and you can't patch with fiberglass. So I started looking for information on the internet U- Tube had great info on the how to repair it you must use polyethylene rod and soldering iron it looked like a 40 watt. OK I will find the rod and we will try this…

We took it to the coast Went fishing in Rockport Texas and we found out everything works. The air conditioner is great. The only problem we encountered was the water tank leaks.  It is very easy to get to. and it is made out of plastic. It is a soft plastic not the ridged type of plastic. Can that be repaired and with what? By the way he landed a 40 lb golden drum! He was very…

Can't put that bunkbed back up

I know this sounds dumb. I have a 1980 Mobile Scout Vaquero 20'  There is a sofa that converts to a bed over it is a upper bunk you fold down the face so that it converts to a bunk. The face has 2 doors  so you  fold it up and use it as a storage cabinet.  I opened it by pulling it down, and now it will not fold back up. I  can not fine a latch a latchs on the sides  nor can I fold it back up. A piece of plywood is under the mattress and I can not understand how it folds It looks like it is…
