Been a while since I was on but now I am retired and can help others with some of the stuff we go through, fifteen years in rev's service and management and 32 years on the road, so to go back again on the road, so I did learn some stuff over the years, I saw one comment about not feeling bad if it didn't go the way yo wanted or you made a mistake along the way, well friends, heres a heads up, life from start to finnish is a learning exspeience and not to run your self over about a mishap….. we all in this together so lets keep up the help and enjoy. As far a s solar goes , its the only way to go in my opinion and each application is different from the next, Ive used it for years and its cool how things are getting better all the time, fi there a down side its the fact that everything is getting more expensive …but kaka happens….deal with it. When building a rig and powering it, don't try to do the whole project at one, plan it through and spread it out into sections thing yo can put inlace with out the whole business having to be there….that sort of thing….lots of reading is a good thing…..when you look at electric appliances and inverters use this formula…..volts times amps = watts…..very cool and easy to figure what you need for an inverter this way….. if you need some personal help , be glad to share with you . Have a good day to all…….Rich Cher and Yogi
Hey, easy on, easy off nothing to be embarrassed about.
I'm 1/2 way embarrassed-I just used ratchet-straps once I'd assembled the panels on the roof, dropped them over the side and attached them to the front wheels. It was easy to take them down when we were ready to leave.
Beautiful spot you are camped at, any chance of getting closeups of how you attached the solar panels? I, for one, am looking into getting solar panels installed on our MH and would really like to see your setup.
