We are new to weekend RVing and need some help finding the best spots to camp that's not too far from our home in the upstate (north) of South Carolina.  If anyone has a favorite spot, we'd love to hear about it.

One of our favorite campgrounds is Pirateland in Myrtle Beach. We travel there most every year. It's a long trip for us (10 hours) but worth it. There is so much to do there that you wouldn't even have to leave the campground all week if you didn't want to. It's a wonderful family place and they even have a church service in the outdoor chapel on Sunday mornings.
Try Hunting Island S.P. outside of Beaufort SC, if you can get a reservation!

we love FOUR PAWS KINGDOM near ashville nc. this place is set up for your pets. your dogs are the center of attention. it is extreamly clean and the people are very friendly. next month ,we will be attending  a tin-can-tourist vintage camper rally there ,where my wife and i will renew our vowels .check them out you'll love it.john & tammy fayetteville nc
