The RV had been sitting in a tow yard since 2007. I had it towed to my house in December 2013. The engine I bought had also been sitting about 7 years and allegedly has 20k miles on it. I pulled the valve covers and oil pan off of theof it and it looked like a new engine inside. Outside there was no evidence of leaks or build up of crud, so I believe it is indeed low mileage. Anyhow, direct answer is neither the engine or RV had run/moved for at least 7 years. I wasn't sure about the transmission, but since the RV was going down the highway when the engine failed I figured it had to be okay. When I took the engine out I noticed that the torque converter was new so there must have been some trans work done to it.

Still can't seal up that stupid choke tube. Need to get creative I guess. Here I am driving on a more substantial trip than the prior round-the-block trips. I was really nervous about those old, dry rotted tires. And everything I possibly could have connected wrong, forgot to bolt down, etc. ran through my mind. But it was all good. No smoke, no fire, no drama. It ran great. Temp was good. Oil pressure is pegged so I'm thinking the wire came off the sender. I'll have to look into that.
