I'd pitch in on that drive too to get them there and back! They were off to Alaska, and JD was having some eye issues. :-( Will miss them muchly! Wish we all lived closer too. Then again.. if I get my ticket, and get a plane.. hmmmm as the crow flies... um... may make "doing lunch" doable! LOLOLOL the $100 hamburger as they call it.
What happend to JD??????
Wish TINA LIVED CLOSER!!!!!!!!!
So looking forward to seeing friends and making new ones. I believe Jimco Jam 2014 will be a good time. Will miss JD and Ethlylene( spell it different each time).Tim Dailey offered to drive them up here.I could send my husband to help as well.
22lb of various stuffs marinating while they freeze for the road trip. Pit will be fired up for the Mardi Gras Feast Aug 2. So bring your best pot luck dish on folks and bring your appetites of course
It is a lot of fun. I was even able to get 2 free tickets, which of course our hosts Jimco and Lydia have first dibs on...lol! The only thing about this faire that is much different than the ones we usually do is that they do not serve alcohol. However, you are allowed to BYOB, which saves a lot of money for the patrons.
Ren Fests are a blast! Great food, fine beverages, beautiful arts and crafts, and stages with shows for all ages... in MD we also have full contact jousting, human chess, an outdoor pipe organ, bagpipes galore, dancing, drumming, music, shakespeare, and of course the king and queen preside over the whole day.
Ive never been to a ren. fest. Oh well when in Rome. looking forward to it.
Fire the rig up yesterday, she just needs a good cleaning and we are ready!
