Hi everyone,
The 77dodge sportsmen sunland for some reason uses only the main battery for everything. To me this is strange. You would think that they would have one for the lights and the main one would be left alone. There are two sets of lights Ac and Dc. So we are thinking putting in an extra battery for the lights or going all out and putting in solar batteries to run lights and and chargers. Any ideas?
P.s. my phone has a mind of it's own when it comes to spelling and punctuation. So forgive me.

That sounds ODD. My 79 Tioga had main battery under the hood and one under the step into the door,(camper door). And all the Dodge M.H. Ive tinkered on have had a place under the step in its own compartment for use as the *cabin battery. (which had cable leads routed all the way up front  and was charged while driving).

I have found no place for a second battery also no cables going anyplace other then the main. I also think this is odd. However i have all the books, ie;Frigidaire, stove, heater, pump, sinks, shower. except the main one for the rv itself.
