I came across the Lesharo model. Built between 1985 and 1992, sleeps 4 and at 20 feet long. Seems like an easy thing to park and the Mpg is very good (10.9 L/100km for diesel and 15 L/100km for gas), so about the same as my jeep. I saw that there is several people who converted the French Renault engine to a Dodge caravan engine to get more power, parts availability and reliability.

Anyone has comments on this model?

  • The *original engine was under powered, so alot of owners converted to Chrysler/Dodge 4 bangers and even the 6 bangers. Over all. They are easy to drive and park.

Yep never saw one.

got one a few years back to sell on the lot.  oversped on the 1-2 shift on the tranny(automatic).  took it to the best shop in town.  spent 3500 on a gear set cluster plus additional for labor.  same problem when we got it back.  toyota 4 cylinder with the full floating rearend is prolly best in the micro mini.  make sure it has the updated rearend.  the 6 cyl was prone to overheat.  hard to find in good condition.  just my 2 cents.
