has anyone had to replace their dash AC/Heater controls or have a diagram and can provide some direction. Also has anyone replaced with after market controls. My controls have fallen apart and not sure what goes where on the back. Thanks for your help I have a 1986 Allegro Titan.
Well the 4l80e is in place. The drive shaft is cut and remounted. The holes for transmission cross member are drilled. The wiring for trans controller is run up to cab. All in all this are going good so far but lots of work still to do.
Has anyone replaced their refrigerator? I have a 1985 28 ft Allegro/P-30 that needs the fridge replaced, but by measuring, it won't fit through the door frame even with the fridge doors removed. The inside of the door frame is 23-1/2 inches and the smallest dimension of the fridge is 24-1/2…
Has anyone replaced the coil airbags? If so how did you get them in. The instructions say to twist the air bag but I can't get it to untwist once it is in coil.
Well it was cold and rainy but fun. The furnace works great after I put a new circuit board in her. Good thing because it snowed on us the last night.
Well another successful trip. This one to colonial Williamsburg VA. Had a great time and no incidents at all.
In the next few weeks I've made the decision to pull the BFA 4.0 genset from the Allegro and get it into the workshop. Too many past splices to the wiring, the remote panel works half the time, now the relays are not working and the starter solenoid housing is cracked open. Too much money to get a…
Well after years of contemplation, I finally decided to remove the roof rack. I love the classic Allegro look, but I just couldn't keep up with the leaks anymore. From the factory, there are 44 (forty four) holes drilled through the roof for that rack. They use that dum-dum stuff under it to seal…
Well getting ready for this years trip. New show faucet, new shocks, changed trans. fluid and adjusted choke. The only problem I can't seem to figure out is why I keep burning up alternator belts. Any suggestions would be appreciated. All and all I think we're ready for the finger lakes.
Hi all! It's been a while since I've dropped by. I hope everyone is doing well.I'm gearing up for the first trip out to NASCAR next weekend and have a long list of small stuff to fix before then. First is replacing the rear shocks. The left rear was snapped off at the mount up on the frame. By the…
A place to share information about and to get help with your Tiffin Allegro and its P-30 Chevy chassis. I'm amazed at the seemingly infinite combinations of floor plans throughout the years.
