The above picture is the bus before I started.
I've been working on my school bus conversion for a while now. All the lights on the inside where changed to LEDs. While I changed all the exterior light fixtures I replaced them with modern…

In this ongoing saga of my school bus conversion, my first choice for kitchen and over head cabinets was to make them. Older school buses have rounded roofs and stock cabinets are square. I figured I'd solve this problem right off by making the cabinets to fit.
The roof in older school buses was round, I'm told, for better roll over protection in the event…

I HATE being cold. I hate the thought of being cold. I hate getting out of bed on a cold winter morning to step on a cold floor. Even carpet can't really take the cold out of a cold floor. The most it can do is attempt to mask the cold and it doesn't do a good job of that.
So I decided to install in floor heating in the bus in an attempt to address that concern. Read about it here: …

I recently wrote about Habitat for Humanities RV Care-A-Vanners and what you can do with an RV. Well to go one step further, if you have access to a motor coach, you can signup with Angel Bus as a driver.
Angel Bus® is a…

I put two basement thermo pane windows in the plywood walls where the original bus windows were. This required the cutting of a metal stud that supports the wall & roof of the bus. This isn't something I wanted to do as I didn't have access to a welder. I did install angle iron braces across the top of the window, supported them on either side with upright pieces of 2X2…

I started this transformation by pulling all the old flooring up and sanding the floor. It was in relatively good condition so it didn't take long. There were, luckily, no holes to patch. I then painted the floor with chain link fence paint.
Here is a picture after the paint was put down. I did two coats.…

Hey Gang,
Just informed that the GoGo Bus took third place in the Maple Festival Parade. Third time entering the parade and I took third. How 'bout that.
First went to a '70 Pontiac Judge. Second to a '88 Olds not sure the year.
Saturday was just PERFECTO WEATHER and we had a little bit of a reunion as Sabra, Margaret and Sharon showed up as the GoGo Girls passing out candy, shooting silly string and blowing bubbles. Sunday well now that was a different story as it was…

Well, we've been digging around our new to us, 1978 Bluebird Wanderlodge bus and have located dozens of manuals for this 'bird from the original blue prints to the old appliance manuals.
IF YOU NEED ANY OF THESE, please let us know. We can photograph them and email you. I know how old manuals can be hard to find, but they are oh so helpful in restoring an old RV/Bus.
Anyway, here's a few that we have in our mits. Please ask if you think we might have what you're…

Hey Gang,
Here I am where I wasn’t supposed to be but am anyways. Malinda rented a cabin in Hocking Hills and invited Ruth and I Wednesday through Saturday. The cabin was supposed to be big enough for 4 so she said I could ask someone else also. Ruth initially said NO then I thought she said yes so I told Malinda we’re coming and so is Dov. Ruth then said I never said yes - I am not going.
Malinda then emailed and said the cabin is MUCH smaller just one room but if you want you can…
