Learning all kinds of terms of late. Residency, Domicile etc.

I currently reside, domicile, live in Montana. I am a "Full Time RV'r " With no address. YIIKES!!! I guess that can be an issue with the governments.

I would love to stay a resident of Montana but, I see most people change to a more friendly "residency" state like SD, FL, and TX. I want to keep my wife's plates on this MH (since she picked out the picture) and I love having a MT fishing license. :D

So, I have a lot of research to do and no time to do it in. I did get a PO BOX. That was funny. Apparently, you have to have a physical address to get one. Well, technically I wasn't out of the house completely (5 days left) so, that was ok. Then I asked the guy for forwarding to the PO Box. He just looked at me a bit strange, shrugged and gave me one. What a goofy rule.

Well, I'm off to fix the water pump (another story) and see if I can figure out this residency mess.

Thank you, Pat and Melanie. I will take your thoughts into consideration. And, look up the Other Gent. :D

I just did my first weekend outing into the mountains. I loved it. But, the cats? Not so much. ;) Anyhow, might try and hit up a friend for address. I am not sure.

So, Off I go again.

Hi Vintage Ol'guy.   well, looks like you're off to a great life of freedom and adventure. You might enjoy following another "yondering'  sole,  Brian at Boondocking the good life.  See his link that I've followed for years in the center of our home page under Sites We Like.   I think he's been doing this for about 5-6 years now in a 5er. Lots of good learning in his past blog posts. thinks he's in Wyoming or Montana now... his generator just went out... again.  LOL

Oh I hear ya. I gave in and now use a friend's house as a permanent residence even though I live in my trailer and go where I want. Just easier that way.
Good luck and happy boondocks.
