Saw this on another web site. I guess its one way to fix a bad engine lol. My parents used to own a Journey just like that one.

What did they do with the steering wheel?

I bet Lakota has a truck that would look real good pulling it.

Now I defo would pull this down the road, Just for the Looks I would get,,LOL

Would have to say tho,,, would be some serious tongue weight...

Ray, I would have sold the steering column and wheel on Craigslist.Sure would be a lot of work to change it back after the front suspension was removed and that front trailer frame was welded in.

That's cool. But I still would like a self-propelled version.

I am kind of surprised to see they did not use a gooseneck setup to support all the tongue weight

Waste not want not.

Without the drive train and front suspension the tongue weight wouldn't be that great, I imagine.

Using our MH as an example, it has a GVWR of 16500 pounds.  Subtracting 3000 pounds for engine, tranny, suspension, steering, dash, etc. leaves 13500 pounds.  Now on a normal trailer this means a TW of 1350 pounds.  Now slide the axle back farther and the TW is going to increase.  How much I do not know, but a TW of 1350 pounds is by no means light and getting into the area of 5er weights.
