Any ideas about fixing a frozen left front brake? 89 Allegro. Been sitting a couple years but everything else fine except the one wheel wont turn so cant move it!

It could be one of three things it could be either the brake pads are rusted to the rotor the caliper is seized or the rubber line leading to the caliper has collapsed. If the pads are rusted to the rotor a good smack of the hammer should break it free. If the caliper is seized up then you'll either have to replace it or rebuild the old one. If the rubber line leading to the calipers collapse you'll have to replace it and re bleed the brakes to the caliper.

Just a quick note, Oreillys Auto Parts has the calipers for the p-30 for under $30 Front brake pads same price range and will turn rotors for $10. Did a complete brake rebuild on the front of my Holiday Rambler with the p-30 frame for under $100 including new brake lines and brake fluid.

Like the other said, you're going to have to pull the wheel and see what's going on there. You will probably wind up removing the caliper, which is a little tricky if you're not familiar with how they're mounted (getting them off is easier than putting them back on). If it won't move at all I'd suspect the rotor is rusted to the pads. Parts are cheap, so don't be afraid to get in there and see what's up.
