Just got this baby for $500 with the tow. Can't seem to find a manual online or even from dodge, so I'm going in blind. Was told I needed an 800 cold cranking amp battery for the engine and any rv/boat battery for the inside. Gotta replace the oven and fridge and a.c. unit, then get the internal wiring system looked at. Any advice on cheapest route

Congrads on your find.... On the cheap,,Check with Walmart on both the Engine battery and the cabin battery. On your wiring,, you can get a regular DODGE Van or Truck schematic,,, searching online for Dodge wire schematics have some useful pictures to work with,, or locate a Chiltons or Haynes work manual.

It DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A MOTORHOME Manual. The *motorhome section is seperate from the vehicle chassis. The RV manufacturer basically just ADDS the motorhome part on the back of a prebuilt cab and frame.. The RV part is just wired with 12 v. lighting and off grid acc. (like lights, fresh water pump, stove vent fan, ceiling roof vent fans), The rest is wired for 110/120 v. (for wall outlets, (Fridge, roof a/c,microwave).

The majority of your wiring will run UP the walls and be fed from the ceiling,(down to wall outlets), same as with 12 v, wiring.

As far as replacing appliances,, search your local Craigslist,, then maybe Ebay or Amazon.
