Patrick, This sounds like a business doing compounding and polishing work? Am I correct? If so how much would it cost. Most of the people on this site are here because they are, eh, Thrifty.

There's a new nano coating that's been through ten years of testing. It's the only coating of its kind to offer a lifetime guarantee. Go to Ceramicpro.com ceramicpro, spread all over European, Asian and South America, has been in the US market for a couple of years. I was introduced to it, as I was approached about being an installer. With a strong background in automotive finishes, I see a definite demand in the RV and Marine industries. I believe the gentleman who was faced with restoring the finish on his motorhome, was dealing with fiberglass is that correct..? If so, with the coating one would restore the finish by compounding...and then on to a micro finishing compound like the "3m product line "Perfect-it". Of course the idea being the removal of oxidation and any scratches in the finish. Once coated, anything left behind will show. The good news is, it's the last time you'll ever buff or wax your motorhome. Ceramicpro protects from oxidation and exposure from the elements. Having just been introduced to the product, I'll fill u in as information becomes available. Also a product line for interior surfaces... plastic, leather, textile, and glass.

Had to laugh at the term one legged paper hanger,,,, almost snorted coffee out both nostrils. Pure entertainment is what makes life so fun. Its true,, when you retire,, you are given more work to do, or the dreaded *honey do list. Scratch off one task, add 3,

I have to laugh my ass off at these guys that retire for two months and then get a job because their bored. I've been tempted to get a job just so's I can get a rest. Since I've been retired I've been busier than a one legged paper hanger in an ass kicking contest.

Good morning,  all;

 This Summer is turning out to be wild.  Since the 1st of May, I have been home for a total of about 10 days, and I am not sure when it is going to stop.  And all this time, I thought that life in "retirement" was going to be "relaxing."

And, thank you for the commentary about waxing the motor home.  I need to do that also.  It does seem that all of the normal tasks associated with the maintenance for a medium duty truck, combined with all the things you normally need to do with a home also, can be a lot more than you ever considered when first thinking about buying a motor home.

Enjoy;
