Just thoughts

First, I wish tell all happy holidays, and to be safe. As I posted on my last blog I was discouraged. Well, last night I looked on line at materials on the Home Depot and Lowes web site. I found some goodies there that were not as expensive as I thought. I found things like tile, and even the lumber to get her roof fixed. I am not sure however if that used 2+4's or the 2+3's. In any case they were 1.67 for 8 ft. Rather that's a 1.67 a foot I hope not. I found tile for as low as 67 cents which… Continue

Discouraged

Today has been one of those days. I found out to reroof the Commander will be around $3500. Not to mention all the other things that needs to be done. I am trying to look at it as restoring an old rust bucket car, but I am having a hard time with that right now. Today I turned on the pump to flush antifreeze through my water lines and the toilet broke at the plastic connected to the toilet it self. So now I need a toilet. Geez! Our Commander

We have not had it for very long. I saw it one day in passing and was surprised at how good it looked for its age. Fairly solid, has some rot by the wheel wells, and sides. Its a fix I think I can handle. Anyways, For two weeks It stood out. The guy was asking 2500 for it, and him got to take 1700. I have been raised with Rv's all my life. My dad (RIP) built for Fleetwood for 30 yrs. So we always had one. Always a class c, so I wanted to try a class A. Not to mention my mother in 1977 drove…
