Cats

Cats

Slinky, furry, bundles of curiosity

Cat’s

Counter jumping, face licking, purring, fur factories.

Cat’s

Funny eye’s, elegant, quietly independent

Cats

Sun Sitting, “I choose to be here and don’t need to be here”

Cat’s.

What would I do without my cat?

I’d go on.

Moving in a generally good direction the whole time, and the color’s of live would be vibrant again someday. I have to admit to you though my cat is… Continue

Home

Well, I picked up my daughter this afternoon, then dropped by and showed her the trailer.  She seems ready to do some camping this summer ... this time in the Red Dale.  (It makes it easier to coax a teenage daughter to go camping if they have their own toilet and facilities.  Ha!)

We hooked it up and pulled it into town where we took it to the car wash and thoroughly cleaned her off.  40 + years of Oklahoma red dirt had been blown into all the little crevices and caked-on under all…

New Stove

We got a new stove for our boat but it is a RV stove.  Boats and RVs are so much alike.  So the new one is a SMEV from Italy.  Joy and I are quite impressed with this stove.  And it has a separate broiler.   We didn't plan on getting a new stove but this was a steal of a deal so we did.  We did think enough of it to put up this post.  So if anyone is looking at a new stove, you might want to take a look at a SMEV.

Painting interior light wood paneling in a Shasta Airflyte

Hello- Could anyone give me some tips on painting  the interior of a 1968 Shasta Airflyte? The paneling is in good shape and I plan to wipe it down with a mild cleaner and then? I also want to do the cabinets.drawer facings. All are in good shape except two bottom doors under the sink that will be replaced.

Seal the wood with a sealer?

I plan to use an enamel paint (easier to clean in the future).

How many coats?

How do you think it will look?

I am not…

Getting Started -1969 Red Dale

I just bought a 26', 1969 Red Dale travel trailer from a local family.  I've been looking around online, and haven't seen another one like it anywhere - anyone know of any others? I've found a few short ones, but none this length.  No photos, yet.  I'll have some up, soon.

It's in excellent condition - the man's parents bought it new in '69, used it for three years, then kept it parked under a corrugated tin building ever since.  The outside is a bit faded, but all there and in good…
