more info

I just found a whole bunch of paper work on my 76 dodge explorer 260. It got a new motor in 97. A 440. the manual says it came with a smaller motor. It got headers put on at the same time. not sure how many miles on it now, but I know in the last few years it only went out 2 times a year.  Trying to get all the little things working right.I'll keep in touch. Any ideas would be cool.

Sell or Part Out?

I have a '99 24 ft Aerolite travel trailer that a vent was broken and I didn't know it or use the camper for about 4 years and now the floor is ruined! Should I try to repair the floor or scrap it out and try to sell it for parts? Keep in mind I'm 61 years old and NOT a carpenter or handyman LOL How do I go about finding someone to buy it in the condition it's in? Any info would be appreciated! I live in central Iowa!

the GoGo Bus loves a parade

Hey Gang,

Just informed that the GoGo Bus took third place in the Maple Festival Parade. Third time entering the parade and I took third. How 'bout that.

First went to a '70 Pontiac Judge. Second to a '88 Olds not sure the year.

Saturday was just PERFECTO WEATHER and we had a little bit of a reunion as Sabra, Margaret and Sharon showed up as the GoGo Girls passing out candy, shooting silly string and blowing bubbles. Sunday well now that was a different story as it was…

My 89 Mallard Sprint given to me for free.

I'm new here and don't know much about RV's as I have been an extreme remote back packer all my life.

Back packing in 20 miles in, carrying a 60 pound pack and sleeping on the ground is catching up to me at age 50.

I recently was given an 89 Mallard Sprint with 60,000 miles on it. It was owned by an elderly lady who recently passed away and willed to me. She loved this little RV ever much and tried to take care of it.

Mechanically it is very sound, the Chevy 350 runs…

Chardon Maple Festival Parade Day One

Hey Gang,

Well Parade Day One went FAB! It was a full rockin' GoGo Bus as Ruth, Dov, Tiffany, Jeff B., Sharon, Margaret and Sabra came along.

The crowd was huge and weather was BEAUTIFUL.

The Bus after all these years still receives thumbs up and WOW what is that thing? The Bus drove superbly. Margaret, Sabra and Sharon walked in front throwing out candy and Sharon Silly Stringed kids. I had the megaphone giving my commentary and asking the crowd…

1971 Cortez roof restoration

hello all...I have a '71 Cortez that has some holes in the roof that need attention. I removed both the walkway and the luggage compartment, as they were brittle and wrecked and I knew there would be rust underneath them. These elements were attached with well nuts (a cross between a rubber cork stopper and an expansion bolt, kinda) that were inserted into half-inch or so holes in the roof metal. I now have over a dozen such holes that need to be filled in some way. Are we talking welding…

Any Ideas on Restoring the Outside?

Hi Folks,

I have a good question here...If you take a look at the pics of the outside of our little Aloha, you can see there are a few issues.

#1) It is a blue grey

#2) Rosie is covered in house paint.

It is a light coat, meaning it is not super thick and in 10 coats. We'd like to take her back to her original glory, the original aluminum. I'm not sure how bad she will look if we get this house paint off of her, or how we are going to…

Can I repair fiberglass?

My motor home has wide curved fiberglass corners wrapping around the rear and extending from the bumper to the roof. I have no idea what has happened but I now have three large cracks approximately 1/2 way across the column and one break that goes all the way across. The fiberglass appears to be appx. 3/8" thick. The rest of the MH is fine and I see no impact spots that may suggest why this part has broken.

Is there a repair I can do myself? The closest RV shop is a 70 mile from…

Vintage & Old Instruction & Part MANUALS Galore!!

Well, we've been digging around our new to us, 1978 Bluebird Wanderlodge bus and have located dozens of manuals for this 'bird from the original blue prints to the old appliance manuals.

IF YOU NEED ANY OF THESE, please let us know. We can photograph them and email you. I know how old manuals can be hard to find, but they are oh so helpful in restoring an old RV/Bus.

Anyway, here's a few that we have in our mits. Please ask if you think we might have what you're…
