Well Parade Day One went FAB! It was a full rockin' GoGo Bus as Ruth, Dov, Tiffany, Jeff B., Sharon, Margaret and Sabra came along.
The crowd was huge and weather was BEAUTIFUL.
The Bus after all these years still receives thumbs up and WOW what is that thing? The Bus drove superbly. Margaret, Sabra and Sharon walked in front throwing out candy and Sharon Silly Stringed kids. I had the megaphone giving my commentary and asking the crowd…Continue
hello all...I have a '71 Cortez that has some holes in the roof that need attention. I removed both the walkway and the luggage compartment, as they were brittle and wrecked and I knew there would be rust underneath them. These elements were attached with well nuts (a cross between a rubber cork stopper and an expansion bolt, kinda) that were inserted into half-inch or so holes in the roof metal. I now have over a dozen such holes that need to be filled in some way. Are we talking welding…Continue
I have a good question here...If you take a look at the pics of the outside of our little Aloha, you can see there are a few issues.
#1) It is a blue grey
#2) Rosie is covered in house paint.
It is a light coat, meaning it is not super thick and in 10 coats. We'd like to take her back to her original glory, the original aluminum. I'm not sure how bad she will look if we get this house paint off of her, or how we are going to…Continue

Can't find, don't have, need VIN #.
Trust Me I have went over My 1975 Cree with fine tooth comb and no numbers.
Can anyone give Me an idea of what the Vin# might look like from this time period.
On;y numbers I've found are on the reciever MC574, that doesn't sound right.
My motor home has wide curved fiberglass corners wrapping around the rear and extending from the bumper to the roof. I have no idea what has happened but I now have three large cracks approximately 1/2 way across the column and one break that goes all the way across. The fiberglass appears to be appx. 3/8" thick. The rest of the MH is fine and I see no impact spots that may suggest why this part has broken.
Is there a repair I can do myself? The closest RV shop is a 70 mile from…Continue

Well, we've been digging around our new to us, 1978 Bluebird Wanderlodge bus and have located dozens of manuals for this 'bird from the original blue prints to the old appliance manuals.
IF YOU NEED ANY OF THESE, please let us know. We can photograph them and email you. I know how old manuals can be hard to find, but they are oh so helpful in restoring an old RV/Bus.
Anyway, here's a few that we have in our mits. Please ask if you think we might have what you're…Continue

Hi all, I have not disappeared off the planet! Been working feverishly in my back yard removing old dead Maple trees and getting the ground ready for a garden. Still have a mess but it is taking shape. Got the corn, collards and a few tomato plants in the ground as well as sweet peas. Also took some time to build a composter out of a 55 gallon steel drum.
Got big plans for the end of the month! There is going to be a get together for those who are into vans. Lots of very custom vans…Continue

Here I am where I wasn’t supposed to be but am anyways. Malinda rented a cabin in Hocking Hills and invited Ruth and I Wednesday through Saturday. The cabin was supposed to be big enough for 4 so she said I could ask someone else also. Ruth initially said NO then I thought she said yes so I told Malinda we’re coming and so is Dov. Ruth then said I never said yes - I am not going.
Malinda then emailed and said the cabin is MUCH smaller just one room but if you want you can…

On the reciever on our 1975 Cree there's a # MC574, is this maybe the VIN or Model #. Kind of fits for a model 25 built in late 74 and called a 75 or maybe it is really a 74. Peoplr I got it from was guessing on year. MC could stand for Marcellus ????? any ideas. Guy from title office said it could be a short VIN because of age??????????? HELP
