Well after a winter spent working on the Cabana, we actually got make a long weekend trip. Just up to friends in Culp Creek OR. (see photos) There are a number of great parks and such up this way but when you can stay with friends and have a creek just behind the Cabana, and a neighbor like "Cutie" why not.
Our winter list of work was long. We focused on getting things dependable. Front brakes were redone completly from the rubber brake lines to the brake drums and everything…
There are a lot of RV and camping sites out there and it can be hard to find the one that suits your needs after you figure out the basics. Here's a site I discovered today. It came from a boondocking group I belong to. What I love about it is they give topographical map information. Some of you might like that - particularly if you like to four-wheel or snowmobile or hike etc. They also include a lot of great links to other, little known but very useful sites. All the information on the site… Continue
Hi there I am a new member to the group, and i have looked through some amazing photo's. I just purchased a 1971 Lark, and would like to know what others may look like. The original owner did some stuff to it, I would like to restore it, but would like to know more about the little critter! Any ideas would be so much appreciated.
I love to read. And I do a lot of it - rarely reading a book more than once because there are so many new ones out there demanding my attention!! But I did get to preview "The Leisure Seeker," because I write for Airstream Magazine and the publicist thought the story took place in an Airstream. It doesn't. But she sent me the book anyway and I'm so glad she did. It's WONDERFUL!! It's also NOT for…Continue
A giant of an individual once shared a seat on the bus with me. We
in silence and watched the road pass by. I had the aisle seat. I have
forgotten where I was going now yet I distinctly remember the smell of
the bus, the bag lady sitting next to us, and the colors of the city I
The person who was sitting next to me had brown eyes and
hair. They seemed to be of working class origins I noticed the roughness
of the hand that shook mine. It… Continue

I think you will hear me if you push the 'listen' part.
Lately I've found myself almost obsessed with Honey Bee's. I mean I wrote a song called The Honey Bee Way,I hear other songs about them, see them in stores, and hear other folks talking
about them. Bee's!!! I love them. I think what's really happening is that I'm getting over-anxious for Winter to finally finish and Spring to get going.
I live in Minnesota Winter is really Winter here it was a… Continue

Our 17' Aristocrat LoLiner has a water tank with a water pump for fresh water. How hard would it be to hook up a hose so we could have shore water also? Can we have it both ways? Thanks.....and happy RVing.......
Gulf Stream has filled a lawsuit against me to remove my story from the website so that others would not know our story. They filled a Temporary Injunction so that the court would force me to stop writing the truth. I am glad to say that the Judge fairly ruled in our favor and refused their injunction. Now we await a court date and I anticipate that the courts will see the truth; and will not rule in their favor. Situations like these are dumbfounding because if the manufacturer has full… Continue
Hi Fellow RV'ers
We are in the UK and have what we think is a rare model of the Dodge Travco because it's the 210 and not many were made.
It's the only one we think in the UK and Europe and it is sitting ready for refurbishment inside but we can't find any photos anywhere on the original interior.
Any ideas would be welcome - we bought it from the US and it was advertised as A1 inside - it definately wasn't and we had to rip it out and start again - perhaps we can make our own… Continue
It is College football bowl season again and again, RVer's are playing an important role. Not only can you buy a RV to transport your group of friends to the bowl game that your favorite football team is playing in, you can also spend the night in your RV to be the first to see… Continue

Just got back from a short hop trip for the Christmas holiday. We call them mini vacations. Did not have any set driving plans, just stayed close to home to save gas money and ended up in Paridise, CA. We still love camping in our motorhome anyway. Rain on the roof and "I love a Mystery" on the radio. A trip to Oregon for Thanksgiving was our "big" vacation for the year. The motorhome ran like a champ and it was a great trip. Lots of fun with family.
