Ladies:
If you have no experience with RV's don't buy anything over 5 years old. Also, if you purchase a gas engine, like a workhorse (Chevy) or Ford, there are some problem rig out there. You will need to have Good Sam 24-hour emergency Roadside Assistance and Toeing. They will stay in contact with you until help arrives. And the will check on you also. I remember, The days when I could walk down the street and not worry about being hurt by anyone. I remember the day when my dad worked for fleet wood in the 60's and 70's and some of the 80's and Rv's were built to stand. At least some of them anyway. I miss those days. Being the proud owner of "The Texas T" (1990 Southwind), and priding myself in still being mobile enough (at 64) to take care of the repairs and upkeep of our home away from home. I am the proud owner of my second glastron. My first was a 1970 and the one I have now is a 1969. It was driven to Northern Michigan by a friend 15 years age and has been in his pole building since. The mice and other rodents were using it as a storage unit in the walls. I have started to redo it a little at a time.
