Well, I got her done hooked up the bike trailer and off we went.

With the exception of no top end (maxed at 56mph) and a slight heating issue she ran down and…

A Camping Autobiography

It’s amazing how our brains retain a few fleeting, fairy-tale snapshots of scenes from our earliest childhood. I hold maybe a dozen of those odd images which, for whatever reason, were burned into my memory. My younger brother is included in each of those mental snapshots, and in each one he is wearing diapers. Because he is 18 months younger than me, I can accurately…

Indian Mary Campground trip.

Our last trip of the summer was to take our new to us, toad, to get some work done.  She is a 1986 Suzuki Samurai and when we got her her motor was running but tired.  So after much research and checking around we decided to repower with a 1999 sidekick motor.  The 1.3 as was put out about 50HP, and when we got to the homestead we had no power with a carburated motor.  We came to a hill around 10,000 feet up Mt. Lewis, we had lots of traction but no poop.  The sidekick motor at 1.6 and…

How to hide a Cabana.

Joy, Luke and I attend an event called Sea Dog Nights  We have been a part of a ship and wanted to become venders and have our GORV on site to stay in.  To have our GORV there we had to hide it.  And we thought if this worked out, we could maybe vend to pay to travel.  Most of the stuff we sold we picked up at yard/tag sales, second hand stores ect.  So this is one way to hide a GORV.

First thing make…

Great Place to Find Salvaged Parts

I found this place on the internet, while trying to find a replacement stabilizer jack for our 1986 Holiday Rambler. I highly recommend this guy:
