We mowed the existing old road that runs through their ranch and took a chainsaw to the overhanging oak brush, then cut a new road down through the brush and trees to the creek where we dug out a trench to level the…

Well I got the picture posted but the description etc got a little lost. This is a 1988 Islander class B they were made in British Columbia but long gone now . Originally it had a 460 ci engine but I replaced it with a custom built 300 6cyl and a c6 trans . After a few years I sold it to a friend who ran it for a couple of years and died. He willed it back to me a bit worse for wear . The picture is from when I had it . Will try and update the picture tomorrow . Today I put it in my shop to…

Finally, we have the rear wall skin removed and are beginning the rebuild...its getting chilly here at nite and we have had a few hail storms. sleeping in the car is getting a little tiring and I miss being out at the Ranch. I really like being outside and comfy... hanging around someone else's place to get work done sucks and its part of the process this time.

We recently acquired a 1978 Swinger Georgie-Boy motorhome. Think we are going to love it simply because of the convenience of not having to figure out where the dogs will fit in a camper and being able to drive to our location and not as much set up as a camper. Anyway, this winter we plan to try and do some remodeling.
We are very NEW at motorhome life for our first concern is the weight distribution. We would like to move the refridgerator to the opposite side of the…

I'm sorry to say that on Sept. 28, 2015 Lura, my better half for over 41yrs, lost her battle against cancer. She never did get to make a trip in her motor home because she was just too sick during the last few months and had to be in for treatments every week. She did go out and sit in it a couple of times and made plans for the trip to visit family. Today we are going to take her ashes up to the mountains in her motor home. Do some fishing and then we'll put her to rest. Definitely not the…

It's in pretty complete shape other than the missing genset and medicine cabinet. Want to keep it fairly original. Looking for information on sourcing windshield and front and back window rubbers. Picture of medicine cabinet would be helpful to try to match…
