Needless to say I'll be leaving shortly- the snow flyes early int the Canadia Rockies. I am so excited to have this camper as I have made this trip many times in assorted vehicles an although I enjoyed each trip it has always been a struggle to get to a motel or restrauant each day ,

I havent had to do a lot to this camper as it is in excellent condition (to…

Mirrors & Music

We installed new side view mirrors. They are convex mirrors from Traction (the Heavy Truck Division of Napa). They provide much better visibility than the previous small mirrors. We also found an antenna that finally fit, also from Traction. So now we can both… Continue

Maiden Voyage

We took Myrtle out for her maiden voyage; camping at a provincial park 250 kms away. She made the round trip journey easily! She was terrific to camp in and drew a lot of attention from people passing by. Her solar power and plumbing was terrific. Her fridge and stove are not yet hooked up but that's next on the list.… Continue

Took our second little trip in my favourite new home on wheels

We decided to go up what they call the Canadian West Coast which compasses the Canadian Side of Lake Huron. The weather was good the whole four days we were gone, which would have been longer had I not been sort of forced to come home hahahahah. We went and saw the Heritage Light House near Kincardine, then went down and watched the sun set in Goderich and the big tankers being loaded with Salt at the refinery which was very interesting.

Spent the night in the Walmart…

Lets call it what it really is......RV Age discrimination

Today I called the BBB to discuss with an agent about this RV park age discrimination that goes on here in California RV parks. I was informed that this was a 100% legal practice and free from the ANY discrimination law. After I picked my jaw up from the ground, I remembered what another member of this site told me, she basically enlightened me to the sad fact… Continue
