As the weather is starting to turn cooler here in South Carolina, I wish I had build a pole barn years ago to work on my projects inside. I have removed everything of the top of the Nomad camper and repaired the holes. the vent pipe for the kitchen sink will go out the side of the camper as it will be the only plumbing in the camper. I am doing away with the inside bathroom and replacing the toilet with a port-a-potty for move room and camp grounds have public showers and restrooms. the AC…

One of the reasons I chose to convert a 40' bus as a single traveler is because I wanted to build a workshop in the bus. The last eight feet of the bus is a craft/work shop where I play and work. I have a heat press for tee shirts and coffee mugs and other items I can sublimate. I have a vinyl cutter/plotter where I make vechicle graphics. I have a small wood lathe among other toys and tools.
It's mostly to calm an over active, restless mind. But I can and do make a…

my generator is an onan 6.5 2 cyl. I got it started but when it warms up, it sputters and stalls. Is this just a choke adjustment? if i hold the throttle open it runs a little longer, but still stalls out. i have removed the carb and cleaned it out.

I got the galley out and slid it forward so i can get to the wall behind it. the paneling and foam core has rotted to mush. shouldn't be too difficult to replace it with some rigid foam paneling, and recover with wood paneling…

Just send 45 minutes creating a blog post, only to have it disappear when I tried to go back from the preview page. We editors are the most unforgiving form of publishing. Next time I will compose it in a permanent file and cut and paste. Back later.

The Adventure of the Ultimate Poo Poo Experience – WHAAATTT - WOW!!! – I must be crazy to even consider writing about a subject like this. Having nightmarish visions of Robin Williams in the movie “RV’; opening the main dump handle for the first time, I proceeded with caution to subside my comic fears of a nasty experience. As the story unfolds; we pulled up to one of the more remote full hookup sites last summer (2014) to check out all the systems. We were close enough to town and…

Wow, the warm weather is gone with a winter blizzard bearing down on us, it's time once again to share some stories and how to's. I've decided to write several shorter blogs then one long annual one.
We finally got "The Queen" in better running condition and with all the added bells and whistles we had some amazing "glamping" adventures this season here in…

I just picked up a 1970 WigWam, quite decent shape!
Not sure if I am going to Retro, sell or just clean it up and use it. I do have the title (ownership).
I am looking for ideas!
Thanks
Mike
