Bathsheba%20in%20the%20beginning.docx
I finally did purchase the '84 Toyota RV - Sunrader that I have wanted so long off of ebay. "Bathsheba" was delivered while I was in Europe in July. Thank goodness I have friends who were willing to meet the carrier and drive her home for me -where she sat for eight weeks until I returned to the US.
Since them I have spent as many…

John has been diligently working on our Scotty since we bought it in July. Those of you who read my last post know that we took a trip before we began any renovations. John totally stripped the camper and used the original parts as patterns to rebuild. We wanted to take Scotty on a trip to PA when our granddaughter was born, but Scotty was not ready.…

I'm on my way back home right now from my annual half a year long road adventure and I stopped by one of my last camping spots and I usually see some friends of mine from West Virginia, but they didn't make it there. It isn't someone I usually have on speed dial or anything, but I do enjoy seeing and camping beside them for the past 4 years that I can remember and they are great people. I hope they didn't get caught up in the hurricane's destruction. There were a few people there from Maine…

As some of you know we rescued our old GMC camper this past year so since I repainted the outside white a white commercial coating, Then I tried to put some stripe accents on it but the stripe paint won't stick to it! So what to do? I have decided to do an antique car "Woody" down the sides and cab doors.
Going to use thin sheets of Luan cut, waterproofed on the back side and stained and sealed with spar varnish on the outside.
Will use thin wood strips to frame it all in…

Hi Everyone,
New owner so I am wondering how I can make my aluminum window trim and sliders look good. They are pitted and have no shine. I have a 3-burner stove that looks hideous ........ any advice where I should go or do to the stove top? Thanks for you help and all your posts. They are so informative.

I recently aquired a 1979 Apollo 3000RB RV and it does not have any manuals or information on it. I sure would appreciate it if some kind soul could share any information about it. Thanks in advance and good traveling to all.

I just picked up a little 100 watt inverter an the Home_Despot for under $10.00 They plug into a cig lighter socket and it powers a 12 watt CFL for hours without getting hot. It also has a USB charge port and is very small.
The idea is to install one of these near every areas I want to use a normal 120 volt CFL light. It is less costly than buying more Thin-lite fixtures, and have other practical uses, like charging your electronic devices and more
